SHOULD WE REALLY NEED TO BOYCOTT CHINESE PRODUCTS IN INDIA? | TRUE FACTS | #boycottchina |
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE BOYCOTT CHINESE PRODUCTS IN INDIA?
China–India relations, also called Sino-Indo relations or Indian-Chinese relations, refers to the bilateral relationship between China and India. Although the relationship has been cordial, there have been border disputes. Here when we refer back CHINA is sometimes against to INDIA in DOOKLAM STAND-OFF, MAZOOR AZHAR and some other stuff like supporting PAKISTAN, which brings up continues conflicts between INDIA and CHINA.
Even in this CORONA situation the first slogan we heard is BOYCOTT CHINESE PRODUCTS ! We all think that by boycotting Chinese Goods , China will fall into loses and it further cannot with stand itself.
- Should we really Boycott Chinese goods?
- Do you think our Indians get benefited by this?
- Why we people are getting a thought of boycotting Chinese products after every conflict?
Every year 7 lakh crores Business transaction is done between INDIA and CHINA, In which we export them goods worth of
1.5 lakh crores, where as we import Chinese goods worth of
5.5 lakh crores we are importing almost 5 Times the value of goods that we export them many people after seeing this data they come to a conclusion that, if we stop buying Chinese goods than china will be facing huge loses and we can make products in our country and also our youth will be out of unemployment.
IF YOU ARE THINKING THE SAME !
WAIT !!! I WILL TELL YOU SOME MAJOR POINTS
1. If we stop buying Chinese Goods then China will be facing losses?
China is the top manufacturing company in the world, China manufactures about 30% of the World's goods if we compare this value to India, we produce only 3% of the goods which are being used world wide with this huge comparison we understand how much manufacturing power China has.
Most of the other country companies manufacture their components in China, APPLE Inc. Company manufactures its components from China not only APPLE but many phone manufactures import their components from China.
As we see in the above image China is importing only 2.9% of its goods to India, Even if we don't buy 2.9% goods, China will not even have ant nuts, It will export these goods to a different Country.
As we see second row in the above image China imports only 0.9% of our goods from India, Now if we stop exporting to China It is not a big deal for china to find these 0.9% goods from other parts of the world.
2. Will India benefit if we stop buying Chinese goods?
This image shows import & export data of India to other countries. |
We are importing 16% of our total goods from China, 16% is a very big number to avoid the disturbances in the production we have to immediately buy these goods from other countries, We may not get electronic gadgets such as Mobile phones, Air Conditioners, T.V's etc as cheap as they were before because we all know Chinese products are cheap than any other country products.
3. If we produce products in INDIA, will we benefit?
Obviously the answer is YES but let us know the facts before concluding this answer, To establish a new industry firstly we have to gather some (1) LAND, (2) MAN POWER, (3) RAW MATERIAL these things are main to start a fully functioning industry, To start a new production we have to wait until it is approved by all the government officials later search for raw materials and man power to start producing this whole process takes minimum of a year and you all know how our government works "PERFECTLY" , even after the product comes in the market we cannot promise that the price is much lower than Chinese products and also we cannot produce some products due to lack of technology.
To make you all understand I will give you a small example, we all use mobile phones the major parts of the mobile phone are
(1) Chip set, (2) Screen, (3) Battery
Chipsets are mainly "SNAPDRAGON", "AMD", "INTEL" even though these chipsets are originated from USA but they are manufactured and exported from China, A lot of research is to be done to establish a chipset companies in India.
Screen manufactures are mainly "LG", "SAMSUNG" their H.Q. is located in another countries yet they manufacture and export them from China.
Battery manufacturer "SONY" is originated from Japan yet it manufacturers and exports it from China.
You all might be thinking that let us invite those companies to start manufacturing products in our country, Let me give you a clean vision why many companies are attracted to start a company in China rather than any other country because China government clears required formalities very soon to establish a factory in China, It allocates land for the factory and gives Loan at a low interest amount these plus points attract many industries to establish their company in China.
4. Can we avoid Chinese products?
The day to day products we use from Mobile Phones to T.V's , from Hand bags to bedsheets all these are imported from China, Even our mobile phone companies like Celkon, Micromax import their components from China. Many India based apps have some funding from Chinese companies
5. What changes we have to bring in our system to compete with China?
- Mainly we have to start searching for alternatives to fill the place of Chinese products but not completely and suddenly this should be done very slowly so that our India economy is maintained stable.
- Our Indian Government should invest more in R&D sector and encourage new companies to establish in India.
- Best loans at low interest and property should be provided for the investors.
